Bitcoin ETFs see eighth straight day of inflows with $61.3m, Ether ETFs face modest outflows
Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds saw their eighth straight day of inflows on Sept. 30, whereas spot Ether ETFs experienced outflows following a day of positive flows.
According to data from SoSoValue, the 12-spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $61.3 million in net inflows extending their positive flow streak for the eighth consecutive day, drawing around $1.42 billion into the funds.
BlackRock’s IBIT led the lot with inflows of $72.15 million continuing its inflow streak for the sixth consecutive day. The ETF has seen over 24.14 billion in total net inflows since its launch. FIdelity’s FBTC drew in $8.32 million.
ARK and 21Shares’ ARKB saw outflows of $9.5 million on Monday following a positive trading day which brought $203.07 million into its fund. Bitwise’s BITB saw $9.67 million exit its fund.
Grayscale’s GBTC registered no inflows on Monday following the $26.15 million in inflows seen the previous trading day. The remaining seven spot Bitcoin ETFs likewise reported zero flows.
Total trading volume across the 12 BTC ETFs saw a notable decrease on Sept. 30, dipping to $1.37 billion from the prior day’s levels. Since launch, these funds have recorded a cumulative total net inflow of $18.86 billion. Bitcoin (BTC) is down 1.1% over the past day, trading at $63,899 at press time.
Ether ETFs register minor outflows
Meanwhile, the seven spot Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. recorded $822,290 in net outflows on Sept. 30 following inflows of $58.65 million the previous trading day.
Grayscale’s ETHE continued to experience outflows, losing $11.81 million. However, BlackRock’s ETHA offset a large portion of these losses by attracting $10.99 million in net inflows, marking its fifth consecutive day of inflows.
The remaining seven spot ETH ETFs remained neutral on the day.
The trading volume for these investment vehicles had also seen a slump, dropping to $149.14 million on Sept. 30 from $249 million seen the previous day. The spot Ether ETFs have experienced total net outflows of $523.79 million since launch day. At the time of publication, Ethereum (ETH) was exchanging hands at $2,644.
